Next, 12th annual Days of design in Prague Designblok´10 will take place in the week of 5. - 10. 10. 2009.
Designblok´09 Editors Award
On Sunday the 11th of October the 11th Days of design in Prague Designblok´00 was officially closed. Within the Closing ceremony Design Lovers Party the Designblok´09 Editors Awards for an exceptional venue were announced. Awards were given in 14 categories.

Go and see for yourselves the special installation of the new Vegetal chair prepared by Daniel Piršč for the Prague Zoo. Long research showed that lemurs of all animals in the zoo like design best. For this reason, the chair has been placed in their pavilion. The vegetal chair was designed by the famous brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and is sold by Vitra. Moreover, visitors to Vitra have an opportunity to buy this chair with a significant discount during Designblok.

On Sunday, October the 11th will the Designblok´09 closing party take place in SaSaZu. You can buy a ticket in advance to see who will recieve the Editors Awards of Designblok´09 and the programme including fashion performance by Chatty and Dot 504, Cartonnage life concert and Midi Lidi DJ´s. Tickets 150,- CZK can be purchased at the Supertsudio cashdesks from Wednesday, October 7th till Sunday, October 11th 9pm latest.
