Czech Brands at Salone del Mobile

The Czech Selection at Salone del Mobile 2015 presents eight Czech companies, all of which showcase household and workplace objects – pieces which transform these places into hubs full of activity, concentrated relaxation, inspiration and intimacy. Six of these companies, each from different Czech towns, specialise in furniture production, incorporating the modernist tradition of economic, pragmatic, yet elegant design based on sensuous material qualities. The other two companies exercise a contemporary approach to glass and its application in interior design, resulting in an informal, yet surprising beauty. For more information, see czechselection.eu.
In addition to installations by leading foreign companies in Milan, we are looking forward to seeing Czech brands Lasvit, TON design, Křehký, Preciosa Lighting and LUGI, as well as designs by Tadeáš Podracký (winner of the Discovery of the Year Award at the Czech Grand Design Awards this year) for Moser glassworks.
