19. 4. 2015

DOMUS, a pilgrimage site for contemporary design is currently being assembled in the unique DEPO2015 space in Pilsen as part of the Pilsen – European Capital of Culture 2015 project. Open until the end of 2015, this is the project’s flagship exhibition.

Designed by German designer Werner Aisslinger, his original greenhouse will contain installations by leading Czech and foreign designers. Opening on April 25 2015, the exhibition will present works by Janja Prokič, Jiří Příhoda and DECHEM studio (winner of the Czech Grand Design Awards), Maxim Velčovský, plus Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus (winners of the main award at Designblok last year). As for our designer guests from abroad, you can check out the work of Mischer Traxler, Formafantasma, Lauren Davies and many more!

The exhibition will present 35 projects by 26 designers and design studios from 11 countries – Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Sweden, Great Britain and, of course, the Czech Republic.
