Hana Vopravilová is a glass designer working between product and collectible design. Her work combines an experimental approach with traditional glassmaking technologies, and her projects stem from a fascination with material. She frequently utilizes found, overlooked or waste materials, seeking to invest new value in them without losing their authenticity. A key element is her signature technique of creating glass molds from corrugated cardboard and paper honeycomb. The aesthetics of her pieces arise from the tension between intention, intuition, and chance, where each object serves as an open space for exploration – not only for herself but also for the viewer. Her work is regularly showcased at Czech and international festivals, group exhibitions, and collectible design galleries.
