Stretch your legs, meet the creators, and let off some steam after the marathon of the biggest design festival! Design(Blok) Lovers are heading out for another community run – this time combined with a guided tour of the Industrial Palace and a well-deserved sauna session.
We will meet in front of the Trade Fair Palace, where every runner will get a DesignBlok festival cap from us, and set off together on a 5-kilometer route through Stromovka park. The designers themselves will keep pace with you, giving you the chance to learn more about their work and this year’s installations right on the run. Along the way, we will take a break for a guided tour of the Industrial Palace, which is reopening just for this year’s DesignBlok, after more than four years of reconstructions. Please note that the tour will be conducted in Czech, but our team will be more than happy to help you with translation. At the finish line by the Trade Fair Palace, you will recharge with refreshments from Vilgain and relax with an authentic Finnish sauna experience by the Czech brand What a Hut. The wooden sauna, complete with changing rooms, will pop up right on the piazzetta in front of the functionalist National Gallery building.
