The Museum of Art and Design Benešov / MUD* works with a distinctive collection of design, art and photography, connecting it with contemporary practice, materials, technologies and public space. Its exhibitions often explore design in a broader context – from craft processes and material experimentation to contemporary technologies and the ways in which objects and environments enter everyday life. Místo dětí / A Place for Children, a project by Nami Nami studio – Klára Koldová and Eduard Herrmann – connected an exhibition-playground with an intervention in the public space of the Bezděkov housing estate. Postsvícení / Afterlight by Jasna studio works with light, handmade paper, plants and contemporary technologies.
