True design is not born on paper, but in a live dialogue with the material. The Czech brand LD Seating has joined forces with the Studio of Furniture and Interior Design from Prague’s UMPRUM to jointly create a collection of accessories for the modern office environment.
The students traded their sketchbooks for the production hall in Boskovice. Under the guidance of Roman Vrtiška, Vladimír Žák, and the metalworking masters from LD Seating, they were given the task of pushing the boundaries of steel tube bending technology and turning their designs into functional prototypes.
