Real design is not born on paper, but in a living dialogue with the material. The Czech brand LD Seating has joined forces with the Studio of Furniture and Interior Design at Prague’s UMPRUM to jointly create a collection of accessories for the modern office environment.
Students traded their sketchbooks for the production plant in Boskovice. Under the guidance of Roman Vrtiška, Vladimír Žák, and the metalworking masters at LD Seating, they were tasked with pushing the boundaries of steel tube bending technology and transforming their designs into functional prototypes.
