I’m Lisa Bell, founder of bellaclava. Based in Berlin, I run a small studio where every piece is designed and handcrafted. I specialize in working on manual knitting machines, with a particular interest in developing innovative textile surface designs. I focus on finding ways to incorporate existing materials to create high-quality garments, seeing their limitation not as a restriction but as an opportunity for creativity. My designs emerge from the materials themselves, allowing their unique qualities to shape the final outcome. Sustainability, reuse, and slow fashion are at the core of my practice. Each piece published on my website is produced in small quantities or made to order, ensuring a thoughtful production process and valuing craftsmanship over mass production.
