At this year’s Designblok, Studio Cirque.Menu will present the installation Basic Requirements. Rather than merely keeping pace with the festival’s daytime bustle, the project truly comes alive once the exhibition venues close. A series of evening afterparties will provide a space for informal gatherings alongside a rich music program, naturally bridging the worlds of design and music. Visitors can look forward to performances by designers active in the music scene as well as rap sessions featuring prominent Czech artists.
“Basic Requirements connects products, interiors, gastronomy, and social programming within a single space. Through our installation, we want to remind people that behind every design lies effort, inspiration, daily rituals, and a good dose of courage,” note creators Petr Hák and Zbyněk Krulich.

The festival evenings kick off with the Designblok Opening Afterparty, setting the mood with DJ Pantata and DJ Robot behind the decks.
friday
The program continues with the Live Performance & Night Moves evening featuring Optiqa feat. Vicena, along with Eyes of Stars, Radimo & Jeffology. The night will also feature the Sutara Late Night Shopping Party, soundtracked by Ondřej, Cyril, and Kembe.
saturday
The afterparty series wraps up with Rap Night Shift. The final evening will belong to well-known figures on the rap scene: Zerwox, Idea, James Cole, and mateo boi.
