Hana Zárubová will present a cross-section of iconic pieces from her career to date in a special fashion performance on Sunday, October 11, at the very end of Designblok. The set design is being created in collaboration with film production designer Henrich Boráros, while the choreography is being developed with director and choreographer Adéla Laštovková Stodolová and Matyáš Ramba. The styling of the looks is by respected fashion stylist Jan Králíček.
The new 25 collection will present reimagined pieces, each based on a pattern that the designer has carefully preserved in paper form for several decades. “It creates a pleasant sense of tension in me, as well as a sense of responsibility about how I will reinterpret these older pieces through today’s perspective. At the same time, I enjoy simply letting my creativity flow. In fact, I don’t know how it will turn out until the very last moment. For me, this is the most natural way to create aesthetics,” says the designer.
