The Basic Requirements installation by Cirque.Menu focuses on the seemingly obvious yet, in fact, essential conditions for creative work to happen. While presenting specific products, it also creates a space where four fundamental ingredients of a designer’s life come together: community, light, coffee and courage.
The installation transforms the space of Kolektor café in the Trade Fair Palace into a meeting place for creatives, architects, designers and festival visitors alike. In the evening, it hosts the series of the official DesignBlok Afterparty by Cirque.Menu, featuring performances by designers who are also active in the music scene, as well as rap sessions by well-known artists.
