The Czech Centre Vienna in collaboration with the CycleUP! project launched an international competition for the design of a bicycle helmet made from sustainable materials. The competition was open to students, designers, and the general public from Czechia and Austria, bringing together design, innovation, and ecological thinking. Its aim was to create a functional and safe bicycle helmet that promotes sustainable urban mobility. The winning designs from the competition are presented at DesignBlok. The exhibited projects showcase innovative approaches to sustainable design, demonstrating how functionality, safety, and responsible material choices can be successfully combined.
