With her brand LAOKON, Daniela Vrabcová Chodilová presents a new collection of food carriers, a project rooted in her student semester work at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design. The collection explores the transformation of familiar forms into new contexts. Familiar food carrier shapes are reimagined as subtly abstract, playful, and at times sculptural glass objects – vases and bowls. In doing so, these functional items take on new meaning, straddling the boundary between functional design and fine art.
