Monte di Luce is a project connecting graphic design, paper and professional printing. It was created in collaboration with the Studio of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at UMPRUM, EUROPAPIER – BOHEMIA, Helbich printing house and the Italian paper manufacturer Cartiere del Garda.
The collaboration resulted in a unique Garda paper swatch book presenting not only the papers themselves, but also their possibilities in graphic design and print production. The project includes practical examples of correctly and incorrectly prepared print data, highlighting common mistakes in print preparation.
The project was developed by UMPRUM students under the guidance of Zuzana Lednická and Richard Jaroš, with graphic designers Robert V. Novák and Filip Blažek serving as expert consultants.
