Felmera Light as the First Tool of the Craftsperson

The concept for Felmera’s exhibition is rooted in a simple observation and deep admiration for the brand itself. In the workshop where each handwoven rug is created, natural daylight accompanies every stage of the making process. It reveals the texture of the fibers, the rhythm of weaving, and the trace of the human hand. It becomes a quiet partner to a craft passed down from one generation to the next. The installation therefore does not treat light as a visual effect, but as a fundamental principle.

The entire exhibition is created from a single material – the rug itself. Rising seamlessly from the floor into vertical planes, it envelops the furniture and shapes the architecture of the space. The rug ceases to be an exhibited object and instead becomes the space itself.
