These are the questions Lappa studio explores in its exhibition for this year’s DesignBlok. It presents acoustic surfaces from a different perspective – as a material that, alongside its functional purpose, can offer expression, detail, and a distinctive character. An emphasis on handcraft and materiality brings acoustic elements closer to traditional craftsmanship, demonstrating that even a technical solution can be tactile, aesthetic, and naturally integrated into an interior.
