Are Heroes is an original artistic concept presented in the form of illuminated ceramic objects. It explores individual experience and the unique ways each person encounters the world, inspired by the philosophical concept of qualia. The title refers to an inner form of heroism that unfolds beyond the attention of others, the personal struggles and transformations each person faces. The objects draw from an aesthetic of imperfection, where cracks, asymmetries, and structural instabilities become metaphors for the fragility of the human psyche and the changing nature of our thoughts, emotions, and identity. The installation works with two layers of perception: the external and the internal world. The enclosed space invites moments of stillness and personal interpretation.
