The concept behind the FRAME collection centers on a pattern and material framed within bold geometric shapes. The collection draws inspiration from photographs of dried flowers by Lenka Fritschová, specifically from her series Past Beauty. A unique brocade was created by combining two photographs that differed in shape and composition. The brocade’s final appearance is distinctive; the use of metallic thread gives the floral motifs a raised, three-dimensional quality. The pattern is oversized, creating expansive compositions across the garments and the pattern resembles a finely detailed painting. This visual quality naturally led to the idea of “framing” the design, effectively turning each garment into a work of art – a “picture.”
