Developed in collaboration with African diasporic organizations in Belgium, Hadithi ya Katikati (The Story of the In-Between) emerged from conversations with young adults from the African diaspora about belonging, representation, and life between cultures. The project translates these collective stories into an archive book and three objects – a carpet, headdresses, and a stool/backrest – exploring cultural transmission, visibility, and balance while inviting reflection on heritage, community, and the ways identities are inherited, negotiated, and shared across generations.
