In addition to showcasing our new workbook and related products from our publishing house, our exhibit is primarily intended to be a “boredom lab.” Part of the booth is the so-called “Boredom Zone,” which provides a space dedicated to boredom. Worksheets are posted on the wall where visitors (both children and adults) can share their observations or answer prepared questions. They have the opportunity to reflect on boredom and evaluate their own attitudes toward it. The exhibition space also features a “boredom vending machine,” from which visitors can pull out one of many boring tasks and then try to carry it out. The aim is to show that even seemingly ordinary things can be interesting and rewarding. This laboratory is open to everyone throughout the festival.
