In an age of digital technology and constant performance, we seek activities that slow us down, engage both hands and mind, and restore the joy of making. Manual Ritual interprets this year’s theme of light as the courage to create, experiment and rediscover our natural creativity.
The interactive installation invites visitors to touch, assemble, weave and create. The same principle shapes a new furniture collection – a coat stand, stools and screens conceived not as finished objects, but as open systems that evolve with their users. Throughout Designblok, a shared installation will gradually grow through visitors’ gestures, becoming a record of a collective creative process.
