Metamorphoses is an authorial collection by Czech hat designer Miroslava Sochorová that explores the transformation of the classical hat into a contemporary design object. Traditional elements – the brim, visor, and the fundamental silhouette – lose their original function and evolve into new spatial forms. The hat becomes a structure that responds to the human body and transforms the way it is perceived. Each piece is designed to offer a distinct visual experience from every angle. The collection combines traditional millinery craftsmanship with experimentation, demonstrating that a hat can exist simultaneously as a wearable object and an expression of contemporary authorial design.
