Aleš Hnátek

Aleš Hnátek is a fashion designer based in Prague. His collections draw inspiration from the principles of Arte Povera and the wabi-sabi aesthetic, which he has been developing in his work for several years. Aleš’s collections are distinguished by a cohesive, refined aesthetic that oscillates between a dreamlike world and sophisticated elegance. His signature style is characterized by honest, artistically executed craftsmanship, thoughtful sustainability, and an emphasis on material, which serves as the foundation for both the design and the construction of his garments and accessories. He regularly presents his work at local and international fashion shows and exhibitions. He was awarded the 2025 Czech Grand Design Prize in recognition of his work.
