In Search of Lost Time
Anna Schwitzer’s new collection is a personal journey back to herself. Inspired by Marcel Proust’s In Search of Lost Time, it explores the idea that memories are not simply part of the past, but a living part of our inner world. The collection draws on personal memories of the North Sea and the Mediterranean – landscapes of endless horizons, shifting light, wind and movement that became spaces for finding calm and balance. In her work, Anna Schwitzer combines personal experiences with visual art and transforms them into silk scarves. Each motif is a visual record of a particular memory, place or emotion. Textile thus becomes a carrier of stories and a captured fragment of time.
