DECHEM will present a new lighting installation Crystals, exploring the process of the formation and growth of crystalline structures. The collection builds on the studio’s longstanding interest in natural processes and experimental work with glass, this time drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of deep-earth mineralogy. The installation combines hand-blown glass objects in a variety of colors and sizes with cool, precise metalwork that supports and unifies the entire composition.
