Product designer Marek Kounovský, in collaboration with the newly established Frayer studio, presents Handle Table — a collection of premium interior furniture crafted from colour-stained bamboo. The design combines a clean contemporary aesthetic with functionality and meticulous craftsmanship, while maintaining a thoughtful and responsible approach to the material.
The collection is made using certified MOSO bamboo, which serves as the foundation for an original dialogue between a young designer and a Czech manufacturer. Together, they explore the material’s potential through a refined balance of form, function and detail.
Handle Table is a joint creative statement that brings together two distinct design approaches, united by a shared emphasis on material, functionality and cultivated form. Emerging from a new collaboration and an open creative dialogue, the project explores new possibilities within contemporary design practice.
