Janja Prokić

Janja Prokić is a Serbian-born designer based in Prague. She studied painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague before graduating from Eva Eisler’s studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (UMPRUM), where she discovered conceptual jewelry as a form of wearable sculpture. Each of her collections is inspired by her personal life, which she describes as a visual diary. Her work draws on art history, shamanism, symbolism, childhood memories, dreams, and fairy tales, while nature remains her greatest source of inspiration. Every collection explores a different theme. Alongside jewelry, she continues to create sculptural objects and regularly exhibits her work in contemporary art exhibitions.
