Kamila Vil explores the possibilities of glass by developing her own techniques and processes. Color, texture, and process are central to her practice, shaping objects that challenge conventional perceptions of glass. Her inspiration stems from personal experiences, everyday moments, and social themes, which she translates into expressive, materially rich forms. She graduated from the Jewellery Studio at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty in Pilsen and is currently studying at the Glass Studio at UMPRUM in Prague. Her work has been presented internationally, including The Venice Glass Week, the Stanislav Libenský Award, and Talente in Frankfurt. In 2025, she received third place in the Diploma Selection at DesignBlok, recognizing her innovative approach to glass.
