Mo Tong is a researcher and designer based between London and Lausanne. With an academic background spanning architecture and anthropology, her practice approaches design as both a personal and critical response to contemporary conditions. Through her work, she seeks to examine and challenge the relationships we form with the objects, systems, and environments that shape everyday life, while proposing alternative narratives for how we might live with them. Her work often navigates the intersection of cultural history, material culture, and spatial practice. Her practice is defined by a sensitivity to context and a curiosity toward the overlooked, revealing design as a medium through which broader social and cultural relationships can be reconsidered.
