The Austrian furniture brand MOWO – move with wood – creates wooden chairs designed to make sitting fun, active and healthier.
Founded in Vienna in 2021 by architect and designer Lisa Stolz, MOWO breaks with the traditional, rigid concept of sitting, turning it into an active and playful experience. Each stool flexes with the body, allowing users to bounce, wiggle, rock and swing while seated.
No screws, no bolts, no plastic… Manufactured in Greece from cross laminated wood veneers, the stools move solely through the natural elasticity of the wooden fibres, held together by coloured cords.
