Stair House was born out of a desire to create a sanctuary for reflection, introspection, and a return to what truly matters. Located in the scenic Mácha region, it was conceived by Lu Jindrák Skřivánková as a deeply personal space blending art, design, and intuitive creation.
Designed by architect Jan Žaloudek alongside Ivo Jedlička and Matěj Coufal / Playform Studio, the house is crafted as a gesamtkunstwerk—a total work of art where architecture, light, and design form a unified atmosphere. At its heart lies the staircase: a space to pause and connect. Its creation also gave rise to STAIR Collective, a creative group fostering a continuous dialogue between space, material, and atmosphere.
