We cordially invite you to the presentation of the Let Her Shine collection of three lamps, created for Modernista as a contemporary paraphrase of Josef Gočár’s Cubist lamp.
The new lampshades were created by lighting designer Kateřina Handlová and Tereza Švelíková (Objet Petit). Drawing on the visual language of lingerie, they bring textile softness, seams, and physical intimacy to the geometric object. The project builds on 1930s traditions of textile lampshades, bridging architecture, craft, and femininity.
