DesignBlok will be the first major event to open the historic central hall of the Industrial Palace to the public after seven years. Designed by Bedřich Münzberger for the Jubilee Exhibition of 1891, the monumental building remains one of the most distinctive landmarks of Prague’s Exhibition Grounds.

The newly restored hall will provide a generous setting for gatherings, talks and ceremonial events. It will host DesignBlok Talks, a special design edition of the AZ Quiz, the official reopening of the palace combined with the presentation of the DesignBlok Awards 2026, as well as Saturday’s Diploma Selection finalist shows.

In cooperation with Výstaviště Praha, DesignBlok is also preparing guided tours of the palace, a Škoda Auto children’s zone and interactive installations in the area in front of the building.
