DesignBlok returns to the Industrial Palace after seven years and will become the first major event to take place there following the completion of its extensive reconstruction. Designed by Bedřich Münzberger for the Jubilee Exhibition of 1891, the monumental building remains one of the most distinctive landmarks of the Prague Exhibition Grounds. During the festival, visitors will be able to experience its restored historic central hall.
The generous space will become a venue for gatherings, talks and ceremonial events. It will host DesignBlok Talks, a live design edition of AZ Quiz, the DesignBlok Awards Gala marking the reopening of the Industrial Palace, as well as Saturday’s fashion shows featuring the finalists of the international Diploma Selection competition. In cooperation with Výstaviště Praha, DesignBlok is also preparing a Škoda Auto children’s zone and interactive installations in front of the palace.
With a Festival Pass, you can visit the central hall from Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 October 2026, from 10:00 to 21:00 Wednesday through Saturday and from 10:00 to 19:00 on Sunday. DesignBlok Talks, the DesignBlok Awards Gala and the Diploma Selection fashion shows are accessible only with a valid separate ticket for the respective event. You can also enjoy refreshments at the café located directly in the central hall.
