Following our collaboration on the ONE collection (MBPFW 2026), we decided to create an extension, a continuation, of it. Exploring the Czech countryside is a great source of inspiration for us (we are Slovaks living in Prague). Time and again, we manage to find precious stones and minerals there, which are then incorporated into our jewellery. The key impetus for creating a joint exhibition for Design Blok was the unique and almost unbelievable discovery of around forty large pieces of a forgotten Czech gemstone, which was nicknamed the ‘black diamond’ in 19th-century Europe. Its properties, history and the legends surrounding it inspired us to create three dress designs, complemented by jewellery featuring this gemstone (along with other precious stones we have found).
