Perem / Periphery brings the everyday clothing of manual workers from the margins of fashion history into a contemporary context. Based on research into archival photography and film, the collection reimagines functional garments through refined construction, an authorial exploration of volume, knitted intarsia, and experimental dyeing processes using mordants and metal solutions. It balances documentary observation with authorial interpretation.
