A glass designer, co-founder of the LAOKON brand, and graduate of the Glass Studio at UMPRUM, she developed her distinctive and recognizable signature style while still a student. Her work combines playfulness and imaginative forms with an emphasis on detail and superior craftsmanship. She enjoys transforming the meanings and functions of everyday objects and consciously engages with the aesthetics of kitsch. She is fascinated by the moment a functional object becomes a vehicle for a story, an emotion, or subtle irony. In her independent artistic work, she uses sodium silicate, chemicals, and salts to create poetic narratives. LAOKON is a Czech brand specializing in original glass design that blends traditional glassmaking craftsmanship with contemporary design, playfulness and irony.
