Rozalie Vlachova

Rozálie Vlachová is a young artist and designer working primarily with glass and porcelain. Her practice is rooted in experimentation and a search for new technological possibilities. Fragility and delicacy are recurring qualities in her work, emerging from a sensitive approach to the inherent potential of materials.

Her work grows out of a fascination with craftsmanship and its strong cultural tradition in the Czech context. Many of her projects explore the boundaries between art, design, and craft, while also reflecting on the value of handmade work today.

Her work is gradually gaining recognition on the international scene, with presentations at Czech Center New York and the Line of Art festival in Zurich. Alongside these exhibition opportunities, she has received several awards and forms of support, including the Excellent Student Design 2025 award, the Director’s Award of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, and financial support from J&T Group. In 2026, she also became part of the Křehký Next collection.
