Hana Hillerová’s new collection of wall-mounted lighting objects and metal vases Deep Time is inspired by the processes of formation of celestial bodies and geological structures. It is based on the idea of red-hot fragments of matter after a cosmic collision, which gradually connect, cool and consolidate into new forms. Glass is here a medium of memory: it carries traces of heat, gravity and time, the process of the creation of this collection is permanently present in it. The organic, orbital shapes of the individual objects refer to the perspective of deep time – the scale in which planets, rocks and the very structure of matter are formed.
