Pauline Hagan’s new collection Two Eaves is inspired by Czech Secession-era architecture (c. 1890–1914) in her neighbourhood in Prague. She draws from ornamental Art Nouveau stucco details, decorative ironwork and wood carvings found on the façades of turn-of-the century residential buildings in Karlín.
Pauline explores the botanical motifs of early Secession alongside the more stylised geometry of later Secession.
The collection offers a personal interpretation of the architectural heritage of her beloved adopted home.
