DesignBlok 2026
The 28th edition of DesignBlok, centered around the theme of Light, will bring to life the Trade Fair Palace of the National Gallery Prague, the Riding School and the Chapel of the Holy Cross at Prague Castle, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, the UMPRUM Technology Centre Mikulandská, and the Industrial Palace at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. The festival opens to the public on October 7–11, 2026, while the professional programme, including the conference, kicks off on October 6, 2026.

Get your all-week festival pass in standard or discounted options, family tickets, VIP passes, or tickets to the DesignBlok Talks conference, accompanying programme, fashion shows, and workshops.
Opening Hours
Festival venues are open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but on Sunday we close earlier at 7:00 PM.
Venues
Every year, the festival brings exceptional venues across Prague to life with design. Discover the main festival locations as well as dozens of galleries, showrooms, design shops, and other spots featuring their own programme for visitors. Open the interactive map and set out to explore the design districts in Holešovice, Karlín, and other neighbourhoods of the metropolis.
Family Programme
DesignBlok caters to visitors of all ages, including the very youngest. Explore the dedicated kids’ zone with your family, join creative workshops, and discover the interactive programme prepared for children by the exhibitors themselves.
Workshops & expositions
School Groups
Bring your students to DesignBlok and show them how the creative industries work in practice. For school visits, we recommend Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Groups of 10 or more students receive discounted admission, with free entry for accompanying teachers. If interested, please contact us at the following times:
