What can light do? It can pass through water and glass, change direction, or create unexpected optical illusions. In our laboratory, participants will embark on playful experiments that connect design, materials, and physics. In the second part of the workshop, they will transform into designers of light and shadow. Creating with just paper and water, they will discover that even without a single drop of color, surprising images and original lampshades can emerge, coming to life only when illuminated. Participants can experiment, discover, and create their own light objects. The workshop is led by product designer Valérie Záhonová.
