Elis Monsport Studio Memory of Light

  • High Craft

The installation captures a fleeting moment between light and darkness, when the sun disappears beyond the horizon or rises into a new day. It reflects the changing seasons – from frost drawing delicate patterns on winter windows to glass coming alive with summer rain and distant storms. Light refracts through layers of glass, creating a three-dimensional landscape that shifts throughout the day and along with the viewer’s movement. The installation becomes a quiet glass room open to the garden – a space between interior and landscape, present and memory. Created in collaboration with textile designer Kristina Duhová, whose bespoke textiles introduce subtle color gradients that complete the atmosphere of the space.
