Commedia Dell’Arte explores the story of the Pierrot through character design and self-preservation. Each character represents a form of safeguarding emotions through personal hardships. The Pierrot experiences heartbreak and the Jester comforts him through comedy, the Nurse through caretaking, the Sailor through adventure and the Strongman through resilience.
