At this year’s DesignBlok, we present an immersive installation by Atelier Monday, set in the environment of a contemporary interior – a collector’s apartment. Architecture, design, light, and art intertwine within this single space. The installation stems from the idea of home as a personal space where artworks comprise a natural part of the environment. The concept Art Instead of Ordinary Objects positions art as everyday items. The works transcend the role of mere decoration and become part of the home, taken for granted as much as the other regular objects we surround ourselves with. The exhibition challenges traditional values, showing art not as a decor element, but as a fully-fledged part of the space itself. Inside the collector’s apartment, you will find limited art editions from the KC Editions portfolio.
