Galerie Kuzebauch presents OFF-GRID Collective at Designblok, a Czech-Slovak group of five artists: Michaela Spružinová, Ivana Zuskinová, Irena Czepcová, Mila Zila and David Valner. They do not perceive glass as a symbol of luxury and formal perfection, but as a living, mutable and autonomous material. They allow it to grow, deform and bear traces of gravity, tools, destruction, time and bodily experience. The project was presented at Alcova during Milan Design Week in 2026 (curated by Sylvia Jokelová). New artworks exploring the theme of ‘Light’ are being created for the exhibition at DesignBlok (curated and produced by Inka Ličková). The project addresses questions of energy intensity, material availability and the future of glassmaking, while presenting glass as a medium for personal expression, social commentary and experimentation.
