A display case – a space for collecting, storing, and presenting items to others, where objects, often of sentimental value, lie untouched behind the glass. The project explores a display case in the sense of a private museum as well as a barrier: physical – between the user and the object – and social – between the household and visitors. The original glass barrier is melting and the soft forms, paradoxically, stabilise the balance of the whole and help to carry the structural load.
Selected as one of this year’s talents for DesignBlok Talent Cards supported by Česká spořitelna & Visa, they have been awarded a free exhibition space at DesignBlok 2026.
