B1 COLLECTION builds on the collaborative project between the social enterprise SKOBA and designer Jiří Krejčiřík which we presented last year in a collection of all-paper lamps. This year’s collection moves our work from lighting objects towards objects for everyday use – we’ve created a series of organizers and storage boxes made entirely from paper. Together with the original lamp collection, these objects form a unified series under the name B1 COLLECTION, gradually exploring the possibilities of paper across different types of objects. The collection presents paper as a full-fledged material for interiors and connects contemporary design with traditional bookbinding craftsmanship.
