Jaron Vandevelde is the winner of the DesignBlok 2025 Diploma Selection. Together with like-minded practitioners, he founded the “collabradors” collective which explores how art and design can foster collaborative processes with other living beings. Their practice reconsiders human roles and responsibilities while reflecting on the ethics and politics of interspecies collaboration. The collective was founded on the belief that alternative futures are possible –ones in which more-than-human worlds are no longer marginalized but recognized as active participants in shaping shared environments. The collective came into being because its members are convinced that other futures are possible.
