In spring 2026, Ludwig Bachmann completed a degree in Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He currently lives and works in Berlin and specializes in spatial design, set design, and prototyping. His craft leads him into the workshop and teaches him to enter into a dialog with the material. Though rooted in his apprenticeship as a carpenter, it is within this approach that he finds the connection to all kinds of materials, the purpose of an object and its subsequent use. It’s his mission to explore this sensual potential and translate it into serial production and environments.
